You’ve heard the saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this is very true, it provides the necessary energy you need for the day, replenishes glycogen stores, enhances cognitive function, and supports the overall well-being of the body. Here are 7 nutritious and healthy breakfast ideas to kick start your day with.

Greek Yoghurt Parfait; layer Greek yoghurt with fresh berries, granola, and a drizzle of honey. This provides protein, fiber, antioxidants and vitamins.

Avocado Toast; top whole-grain toast with mashed avocado, add a sprinkle of chili flakes and a poached egg. Avocado toast provides healthy fats, protein and whole grains.

Egg and Veggie Wrap; scramble eggs with spinach, tomatoes and bell peppers, then wrap them in a whole grain tortilla provides fiber, protein and vitamins.
