If you are asking whether all foods that provide energy do so to some level, the answer is yes. For example sugary drinks, pastries and spaghetti all give you energy but they do so rapidly tand prevent you from consuming a satisfying portion. Complex carbs (like beans and whole grains), healthy fats, and protein take a more extended time to digest, satisfy your hunger and give you a constant supply of energy.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great source of wholegrain and a complex carbohydrate. It is rich in fiber, Vitamin B and nutrients. Oatmeal takes time to digest and supplies energy simultaneously. A bowl of oatmeal will last you hours.

Egg

Eggs, initially were believed to be a source of cholesterol and caused heart disease, this discouraged its consumption but recent research has nullified those claims and reveal that eggs are a source of numerous vital vitamin and other nutrients and this has projected eggs as an healthy food. A single one contains 70 calories, and yet has 6 grams of protein. That provides energy that gets released slowly. That helps it satisfy hunger.

Bean

Beans, a great and healthy source of protein, potassium, and complex carbohydrates. Beans also have plenty of fiber to help slow digestion. They’re rich in magnesium, too. That helps your cells make energy.

Tea

Unlike sugary sodas and soft drinks that can increase and then crash your energy levels in the middle of the day, the tea is a low calorie drink that can replace that high sugar intake. That change makes you more likely to get the nutrients and fluids you need each day, which can help keep you awakened, focused and energized.

Chicken

Unlike the red meat that contains saturated fat that are harmful to your health, chicken still provide quality protein, but contain less saturated fat.

Water

When your body doesn’t have enough, you become exhausted. Keeping your body hydrated makes it function optimally and aids to carry fuel and nutrients to your cells and disposes waste from the body. High intake of water allows less fat, sugar, salt, cholesterol, and total calories into the body. That leaves more room for healthy nutrients that keep you energized. It is essential to drink up when you exercise.
