Everyday habits that is aging you faster

There is a saying that a little drop of water makes the ocean. That saying might be applied to matters related to our health. The things you do every day has great impact on your health.  No doubt you know that smoking and excessive consumption of alcohol is bad for your health. However, these everyday habits cause great damage to your health.

Lack of exercise : Regular exercise is vital in keeping you young, healthy, and happy. However, little to no exercise is a major cause of chronic diseases. Just 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day can make a huge impact on your rate of aging and appearance. Exercise reduces age-related oxidative damage and chronic inflammation and insulin sensitivity.

Unhealthy diet: Eating junk foods or foods with too many sugars is a great recipe for quick aging.   

Processed sugar, carbohydrates and excess alcohol are known to accelerate inflammation.

Chronic inflammation is not only a major cause of premature aging, it can lead to other damaging health conditions like heart diseases, cancer and others.  It is best to eat more fruits, vegetables and nuts.

Inadequate sleep: Regular lack of sleep is another factor that leads to damaging inflammation and premature aging.  Lack of sleep does not only make you feel irritable but negatively impact your skin, making you look older than you actually are. Lack of quality sleep affects your brain.  

Not getting enough sleep leads to an increase of the brain’s garbage concentration and may explain an underlying mechanism behind healthy or unhealthy brain aging.

Stress: Not managing your stress can make you age faster. Exercises, meditation can help you feel less stress.
